HuffPo Ties John Birch Society to Ron Paul
As the leading left-wing website, some parts of the Huffington Post are
becoming concerned that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's message
of peace may draw large numbers of Democratic votes.
"Rep. Paul's ideas are so extreme that no sensible voter would give him a
second look if it wasn't for the Uncle Fuzzy persona," HuffPo columnist
Andrew Reinbach warned his readers in a July 5 article entitled "President
Ron Paul? Ron Paul and the John Birch Society." Reinbach then listed some of
Rep. Ron Paul's substantial economic libertarian and constitutionalist
credentials.
How extreme is Ron Paul? Well, Reinbach claims he's "a very close ally" of
The John Birch Society. Reinbach asks: "Where did Rep. Paul get these ideas?
Well, mostly from the seed bank of the John Birch Society. While he's not a
member, he's been close to it since at least the 1970s."

Obama Signs Agenda 21-Related Executive Order
President Obama signed his 86th executive order (13575) on June 9, which
established the White House Rural Council (WHRC). According to The Blaze,
the Executive Order seems to be in line with the United Nations radical
Agenda 21, as it is designed “to begin taking control over almost all
aspects of the lives of 16 percent of the American people.”
Evidence of this can be found in Section One of the Executive Order, which
reads:
Section 1. Policy. Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural
counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the
future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. These
communities supply our food, fiber, and energy, safeguard our natural
resources, and are essential in the development of science and innovation.
Though rural communities face numerous challenges, they also present
enormous economic potential. The Federal Government has an important role to
play in order to expand access to the capital necessary for economic growth,
promote innovation, improve access to health care and education, and expand
outdoor recreational activities on public lands.

Democrat: We Need 'Analysis of How Christian Militants … Might Bring Down The Country’
At a congressional hearing on Muslim radicalization in U.S. prisons, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) said that investigators needed to analyze Christian militants in America because they too might try to “bring down the country.”

Boiling frog alert: Congress wants automatic wage reductions to pay down national debt
Folks… you just can’t make this stuff up.
On July 6th, just two days ago, at least a dozen busybody Congressmen
sponsored the introduction of HR 2411, the “Reduce America’s Debt Now Act of
2011.” They always come up with fantastic names for these pieces of
legislation… and rest assured, the better/more patriotic the name, the more
ominous the bill. This one follows the pattern.
HR 2411 states that every worker in America should be able to voluntarily
have a portion of his/her wages automatically withheld and sent directly to
the Treasury Department for the purposes of paying down the federal debt.

Obama aide: Gun legislation in 'near future'
Six months after the shooting in Tucson that killed six people and wounded
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., the Obama administration has yet to move
on new gun control legislation.
That could change soon.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said a special task force has been "working
through these complex issues, and we expect to have some more specific
announcements in the near future."

FDA unleashes end game scheme to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements formulated after 1994
In the wake of hundreds of dietary supplements recently being outlawed
across the EU, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has quietly unleashed a
regulatory scheme that, if fully implemented, could ban virtually all
dietary supplements in the USA that were formulated after 1994.
That means nearly all superfoods, multivitamins, detox supplements, and
medicinal herbal products we have all come to depend on to prevent disease
and boost our immune health could soon be stripped from store shelves and
outlawed across the nation. I call it the "End Game" of the FDA's war
against humanity: Phase one was the enforcement of nutritional ignorance by
threatening and raiding
companies that dared to make truthful health claims on their own
websites. Phase two involves "nuking" the entire dietary supplements
industry by simply denying the use of nearly all the ingredients presently
used in supplement products.

Richard Lewis described his own experience of being unjustly accused of
violating the law and having to spend four years defending himself. Richard
ran as a third party candidate for Congress and knew that the two major
parties wanted to punish him for challenging them. He was very careful to
meet all the requirements of registering under the campaign finance laws,
reporting all his contributions, and reporting all his expenditures. What he
did not anticipate and could not have prevented was the accusation of
“coordination”.

But the latest move by globe trotting, hyper-liberal billionaire George
Soros borders on being too much. According to papers filed with the SEC, in
the fourth quarter of 2006 Soros purchased nearly 2 million shares of ...
hold your breath ... Halliburton. The Halliburton shares reportedly went for
an average purchase price of $31.30 a share. That puts Soros' total
investment in Halliburton at around $62.6 million, or about 2 percent of his
total portfolio.

Florida governor signs welfare drug-screen measure
Under the law, which takes effect on July 1, the Florida Department of Children and Family Services will be required to conduct the drug tests on adults applying to the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. The aid recipients would be responsible for the cost of the screening, which they would recoup in their assistance if they qualify. Those who fail the required drug testing may designate another individual to receive the benefits on behalf of their children.

A Two-State Solution for America
Secession seems to be back in vogue these days. Last January a referendum was held in southern Sudan asking whether citizens in the strife-torn region wanted to remain part of their native country or form their own sovereign state. Multiculturalism never quite caught on in Sudan -- millions of people have been killed in several decades of ethnic conflict between the predominantly Muslim north and the Animist and Christian south, in addition to the humanitarian crisis in the western region of Darfur. 98.83% of the southerners opted for secession, and on Saturday July 9 the Republic of South Sudan will be born.

Impossible, since both seek to force their own version of authoritarianism
on the other. The commies("Liberals" and 'progressives) are the greater of
the two evils of course since their version leaves no Liberty at all and

Government is about control of landscape and resources. Always has been. Why
does the empire have 700 military bases scattered around the globe, aircraft

One can blindly love this romantic stuff, especially if one isn't an
anarchist and wants some basic limited govt. and law enforcement. But we

Iraq war deaths exceed Vietnam
Some of these brave men died in the jungles of Vietnam while others died in
Medivac units or hospitals in Japan and America. A dead soldier can
surrender his life anywhere in service to his country. It really doesn't
matter where this happens. The location of a soldier's death in no way
colors his sacrifice.
But something odd has happened with the Iraq War. The government, under the
Bush administration, did something dishonest that resulted in a lie that's
persisted since the war began -- and continues to this very day. They
decided to report the war deaths in Iraq only if the soldier died with his
boots on the ground in a combat situation.

Mexican cartel leader claims gang buys all its guns in US
During an interview recorded by Mexico’s Ministry of Public Safety, Jesus Enrique Rejon, alias 'El Mamito,' told officials that the feared drug gang purchases all of its guns in the US. In the interview (the video of which is available here), Mr. Rejon claims the group used to sneak the arms through border checkpoints, but stricter security measures have forced them to smuggle them across the Rio Grande. He also alleged that the Zetas’ rival Gulf Cartels have an easier time bringing weapons across the border. “It got harder, but we can still get them,” Rejon said. “Those in the Gulf Cartel get them a lot easier; we don’t know why. It’s impossible to buy them and smuggle them in a vehicle trunk, but they do it. There must be a deal somewhere. I don’t know.”

Landmark US-Mexico trucking agreement resolves 15-year conflict
After years of wrangling, US and Mexican officials signed an agreement Wednesday that allows trucks from each nation to travel on the other country’s highways – a key provision of NAFTA.
--- This is absolutely evil and must be stopped. They will force U.S. drivers to accept Mexican wages or at least a reduction. The 'safety' issue is a red herring. Lot's of U.S. trucks are un-safe if only for the fact that many drivers cook their books and drive sleep-deprived on a regular basis. The worst part of this is that many trucking companies already forbid their drivers to travel un-armed, thus un-able to defend themselves. The smarter ones carry a gun anyway but if they are forced by their employers to drive into Mexico they could be imprisoned, even if only one bullet is found in their truck.
Mexico is another country and they are not 'like us.' Their governments are
immensely corrupt and their people are not free and they have an even weaker
understanding of human Liberty than the average Amerikan sheeple, which of
course isn't much to brag about.

didn't fail until the gas tube melted. Many have been switching to
gas piston designs because they don't throw as much carbon fouling back
into the bolt system and lower receiver. I've long wished they were easier
to clean. But I own one because I know that's what our enemies will most
