Yet again the NRA sells out freedom to the Democrats
"There are few organizations purportedly on the side of freedom that aggravate me more than the National Rifle Association. [Click here to read the Politco.com article referencing the agreement between the NRA staff leaders and liberal House Democrats.]
"In fact, these days I cringe when I see good conservatives with their lifetime member sticker from the NRA on the back of their cars. I support Gun Owners of America, which is a consistent and uncompromising defender of the second amendment, not a weak little girl of an organization protecting itself while throwing everyone else under the bus.
"But that’s what the National Rifle Association is doing. You and I are willing to stand together because we know we either stand together or hang separately. The NRA legislative strategy in the past few years has been to hang everybody else so they can be the last man standing — more interested in maintaining the veneer of bipartisanship than actually standing up for the second amendment."
The NRA was
founded by Yankee generals. So what should one expect?
____________________________________________________________________
"After watching some of their favorites go down in flames in race after race these past few months and seeing their statist schemes like Cap and Tax grind to a halt as a result of a massive uprising by liberty-loving Americans, they plan to strike back.
"In a move that has dire consequences for our First
Amendment right to freedom of speech and for Campaign for Liberty's
ability to fight for our freedoms, incumbent politicians have colluded
with a super-sized establishment lobbying group, the National Rifle
Association, to push H.R. 5175, the DISCLOSE ACT, or as I like to call
it, the "Establishment Protection Act," through the House of
Representatives as soon as this week."

"The NRA provides critical firearms training for our Armed Forces and law enforcement throughout the country. This bill would force us to choose between training our men and women in uniform and exercising our right to free political speech. We refuse to let this Congress force us to make that choice. "
Firstly, the NRA should be organizing, training and arming the Militias for what will soon be required. But that's not the NRA's job. Their job is to keep gun laws and the out of control Federal Government in place.
Why is the NRA afraid of the word 'militia?" I asked them this question, and got no real answer.
snip
"There are those who say the NRA should put the Second Amendment at risk over a First Amendment principle. That's easy to say unless you have a sworn duty to protect the Second Amendment above all else, as we do.
"The NRA is a bipartisan, single-issue organization made up of millions of individual members dedicated to the protection of the Second Amendment. We do not represent the interests of other organizations. That's their responsibility. Our responsibility is to protect and defend the interests of our members. And that we do without apology."
Secondly, this war is about Liberty, not the tools
we will soon have to use to kill many of our domestic enemies. When they
steal the First Amendment away, it will be time to fall back on the
Second. But the NRA leadership isn't about winning this war, they're
about sustaining it.

The Sovereign Nation of Shetland and schoolyard bullies
"It doesn′t have to be violent. It can happen by people simply changing their minds and turning their backs on the existing situation. Just as it takes only a small number to keep the present system in place, it takes an equally small number to achieve change. As more and more people make the change, the old system will simply die on the vine.
"People often ask me how Shetland could manage without EU and UK grants and subsidies. The truth is, the boot is on the other foot. Shetland is, and always has been, a source of income for the government or the Crown. Most people would assume that Shetland, being an island group right out on the periphery, would be a net recipient of the tax/grant/subsidy merry-go-round, but not so. In 2003 (the latest year I have figures for) Shetland paid into the UK Treasury £200 million in direct and indirect taxes. It got back £100 million in grants and subsidies. £100 million went out of the Shetland economy, never to return; and was spent on supporting things like payments to the EU (reputedly £250 million per day from the UK), illegal wars and other essentials."
Sounds great, but they might want to ask the
Confederate government how that worked out for them. Sorry, there is
no Confederate government.
They were
conquered after Lincoln at the behest of his masters killed enough
people to enforce their tariffs. They have no problem killing.

U.S. Dept. of Fish and Wildlife closure notice
Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge
A few years back I was bicycling about 10 miles west of I-19 in this region. To my surprise I saw several 'hikers' cross the road a couple hundred yards in front of me in broad daylight. In a few minutes I saw one or two of them again as they crested a ridge above and behind. I was armed at the time but not looking to play border guard so I opted to keep pedaling as if I'd seen nothing.
I managed to flag down the second border patrol vehicle I saw and told
the officer what I'd seen. All he said was they'd look for them, more or
less. I never heard any more of it. The truck stop I often stayed at
while in that area was allegedly a known drop point of some kind. It was
about 12 miles up the interstate from Nogales, a border town, where all
the radio stations are Spanish language. The Nogales on the Mexican side
may be larger than the Arizona town. I was told many migrants made it
that far but were unable to continue on into the states.

Is the 'National' Guard training to control and guard you?
"For those who may think we are overreacting to the possibility that the federal government would respond to an emergency, specifically mandatory evacuations on the gulf coast with the use of National Guard troops, we direct you to the article below, brought to our attention by Worldwide Wake Up Now and originally published at Public Intelligence.
"In the event of a mass evacuation event, be it on the Gulf coast or as a result of an earthquake, chemical attack, biological attack, or other national emergency, we fully expect National Guard troops to be deployed. There will be mass chaos, violence, rioting, and looting, and local law enforcement simply will not have the capability to handle such a disaster."
Remember, they're weapons are kept under lock and key, in a Federal
Government facility.

Hitlery wants to sue Arizona for defending its borders
"Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Thursday she's angry over comments by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that the Obama administration will sue the state over its new immigration law.
"In a June 8 media interview in Ecuador that began circulating Thursday in the U.S., Clinton said President Barack Obama thinks the federal government should determine immigration policy and that the Justice Department "will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."
The commies want the ignorant immigrants here because they think they'll
vote commie. End of story.

Chuck Baldwin's suggested survival list
"One does not have to be a prophet to know that we are on the precipice of some potentially catastrophic–or at the very least, challenging–days. In fact, most of us are already in challenging days, and some are already enduring catastrophic events. That is, if one would call being out of work, losing one’s home, facing life-threatening medical conditions without any prospect of medical insurance, several families being forced to live in one house due to homes being foreclosed, etc., catastrophic."
Nothing wrong with preparing for bad times. Had a recent conversation with some folks who are preparing to hunker down if any of several things go wrong. But the question that came to my mind then and stays on my mind all the time is this: Why the hell are we sitting on our asses waiting for things to go wrong when we know where those responsible for all these messes are?
Many expensive suits hanging along Pennsylvania Ave. would send a
message that needs to be sent. It's incredible to me that the amerikan
sheeple are so stupid and pacified that they haven't already massed and
done what will eventually be required.

The Neo-Marxist who is helping to influence the mutt's media policy
“Only government can implement policies and subsidies to provide an institutional framework for quality journalism.” Does that statement give you chills?
How about this one: “The news is not a commercial product. It is a public good, necessary for a self-governing society. Once we accept this, we can talk about the kind of media policies and subsidies we want.”
Or this one? “In the end, there is no real answer but to remove brick-by-brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles.”
You can go here to tell the commies at the FTC how you feel about this evil.
Here is my message to them:
"When you destroy the First Amendment we will fall back on the Second.
Hope to see ya' then."

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife to re-open Otter Creek Park
"Louisville Metro Parks closed the Meade County facility to the public early last year to save money, sparking protests and various proposals about what to do with the 2,600-acre facility along the banks of the Ohio River.
"The park provided an array of recreational activities — from mountain biking to antique farm machinery shows to fly fishing — and was frequented by Hardin County residents.
"Patsy Bowman, who helped organize Friends of Otter Creek Park, expressed concern about the state agency managing the land. “I think there is going to be some hunting involved,” she said.
"Nevertheless, Bowman said it’s better than the park remaining shuttered."
Yes, the animals there should retain a healthy fear of man.
And those absurd signs forbidding firearms should be done away with
permanently. They also had some good mountain biking trails. I only got
up there a couple times but I'd like to go again sometime.

Here's why animals need to keep a healthy fear of man
"A backpacker shot and killed a grizzly bear in Denali National Park and Preserve on Friday after the animal charged toward his hiking companion. This is the first shooting incident since a change in federal law that allows firearms to be carried in many national parks and wildlife refuges went into effect in February.
"This is also the first known shooting of a grizzly bear in the wilderness portion of the park by a visitor.
"According to park spokeswoman Kris Fister, the backpackers were hiking in an area about 35 miles from park headquarters when they heard noise in nearby brush. The male hiker drew a .45-caliber pistol he was carrying, and when the bear emerged and charged toward his female hiking companion, he fired about nine rounds toward the grizzly."
The newswhores posted my comments on this but deleted my contact information of course. Can't have any real errant thought reaching their braindead "Liberal" citiot readership.
My comments:
The best solution to our problems is to put up a 14' high fence with the
concertina wire on top facing inwards around all the large metro areas.
Then stock the areas with hungry wolves, mountain lion, bear, coyotes,
wolverines and whatever other North American carnivores the
"Liberal"(communist) freaks love to whine about.
Those smart enough to carry weapons, openly disobeying any laws the
"Liberal" garbage have written and voted for, will survive. They can
even help out the carnivores by wounding a few "Liberal" freaks so the
poor animals won't have to run as fast to catch them.
They could also open doors to "Liberal"(communist) establishments, like
this commie rag, to allow the hungry carnivores to access their food.
After all the "Liberal" citiots are dead, we can return this nation to

Rand don't need no stinkin' license
"The libertarian-leaning Republican helped create
a rival certification group more than a decade ago. He said the group
has since recertified several hundred ophthalmologists, despite not
being recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties - the
governing group for two dozen medical specialty boards.
Questions about Paul’s certification as an eye
surgeon first arose in a story published Sunday in The Courier-Journal
of Louisville.
Paul, who is continuing to practice in Bowling
Green during the campaign, chafed Monday at questions about his
certification.
“It’s a personal assault on my ability to make a
living,” Paul told The Associated Press in a telephone interview."
Imagine that, the commie journal regurgitating
propaganda generated by a demoncrat and a Marxist front group
masquerading as a 'news organization'(The Associated Propagandists).

Quote for the times:
"I can hire one half of the working class to kill the other half." -
attributed to Jay
Gould
"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should
not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all
experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while
evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms
to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and
usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to
reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their
duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their
future security." -
The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America,
Adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776
(To the Founders, 'state' meant independent sovereign nation state,
that was voluntarily entering into the union and could theoretically
un-volunteer later.)
