Anti-gun Advocates In Senate Seek Rules Changes
Make no mistake about it: Procedure is power.
The reason we are not stuck with bans on semi-autos, gun shows and
ammunition is because the U.S. Senate is structured so that whatever
party is in the minority still retains procedural power to protect the
rights of the citizenry against the "tyranny of the majority."
But on January 5, 2011, at the beginning of the new Congress, Senate
Democrats are hatching a plan to decimate long-standing Senate rules in
order to remove those protections.
The linchpin of the plan would be a ruling by Senate President Joe Biden
that the Senate is not a "continuing body" and therefore has NO rules --
other than whatever 53 Democrats and Independents might unilaterally
adopt.

Tea party organizers warn: 'We are watching'
Eager to dispel the notion that their protest movement is a mere flash
in the pan, the nation's tea party activists are preparing to welcome
the newest crop of lawmakers to Washington by reminding them of the
consequences if they walk away from their campaign promises.
One tea party group has issued a call for supporters to greet new
members of Congress as they are officially sworn in Wednesday, and
similar scenarios are expected to play out in states across the nation.
Tea party organizers say they plan to become watchdogs inside state
capitals while continuing the grass-roots push to generate political
support to cut spending and roll back federal overreach.
--- And I got a feeling there's going to be a lot of disappointment...
there are no magic wands in the district of commie criminals.

Yesterday, Ron and Rand Paul made history as the 112th Congress convened
and father was sworn in to the U.S. House while son was sworn in to the
U.S. Senate.
To mark this occasion, a joint swearing-in reception was held in the
Capitol Visitor Center, and I was proud to see several of our state
coordinators and members make the trip to this momentous event.
Here are
some pix of the event.

GOP-Controlled House to Kick Off New Session by Reading Constitution Aloud
Republicans in the House came to power vowing to govern by the book --
or in the case of the Constitution, by the parchment.
And partly as a nod to Republican representatives elected as part of the
conservative Tea Party movement, one of the first acts of the newly
GOP-controlled House will be to read that founding document aloud on
Thursday.
--- Gee, first they need to learn how many of them can read. Actually
touching the document will probably singe many fingers. I can hear the
witch Pelosi screaming now: "I'm melting, I'm melting."

"They're going to put everything up on the web and they're gonna give
people three days to actually scour through bills, to check all the
titles and the sections to see if what the legislators say is in the
bill is actually in the bill," says Matt Schlapp, a former political
director in the Bush Administration. Tom Schatz of Citizens Against
Government Waste says, "It's about time that Congress enters the digital
age. Everyone else has their information online. It's accessible, it's
easy to understand, and yet Congress for years has refused to let people
see what they're doing."
snip
Republicans will also require lawmakers to take another step, says Jason Chaffetz. "When you submit your piece of legislation, you're gonna actually have to cite constitutional authority for that bill."
--- They need to require that all legislation be read out loud, before
the entire body, before a vote. They also need to be required to repeal
100 laws for every new one they pass, for the next 100 years.

Will they mean it this time?
If you don't want to hear the commie windbag forward to 12:10. This
includes the swearing in at the end, where they all lie to us once more.
Which pretty much answers the question above.

14 states may target birthright citizenship
Arizona state politicians will introduce model legislation this week to
encourage states to prevent children of illegal immigrants from being
granted citizenship under the 14th Amendment.
Lawmakers in at least 14 states have said they are committed to passing
the legislation targeting birthright citizenship. Arizona's
anti-illegal-immigrant bill, SB-1070, was also based on model
legislation that could be easily copied by states, and at least seven
states are likely to pass bills similar to the first Arizona immigration
overhaul this year, according to one analysis by an immigrants rights
group.
--- We need to be canceling the 'citizenship' of all known communist
activists, including those who call themselves "Liberals" and
'progressives' and putting them on the first plane or leaky rowboat out
of the country.

Legalized Citizen Militias for Arizona's Border?
So who's making the decision to take the 'National Guard' away from
border states? The 'National Guard' is not a state militia. Never has
been, never will be. Their weapons are furnished and ultimately
controlled by the Federal Government.

Opponents say Ky. immigration bill goes further than Arizona law
Opponents of an immigration bill filed Tuesday by Senate Republicans say
it goes even further than a controversial Arizona law that has been
challenged in federal court by President Barack Obama's administration.
Senate Bill 6 was one of several filed Tuesday that is backed by GOP
leaders, who have said they hope to pass the measure by the end of this
week. Other bills filed Tuesday include a proposal to create a panel
that would recommend changes to the state's tax system and bills to
tweak state pensions and election laws.
--- Of course the newswhores failed to provide an actual link to the
legislation. This
appears to be it, but I don't know why it's on three different
pages.

#2 A 49-year-old Queens woman had bruises all over her body after she
was handcuffed, arrested and brutally beaten by NYPD officers. So what
was her offense? The officers thought that her little dog had left some
poop that she didn't clean up.
#3 A 56-year-old woman who was once a rape victim refused to let airport

Internal or domestic passports--a registration document which ties
Russians to a particular city, its system and benefits - were created
during Stalin's time as a method of controlling internal migration
within the vast Soviet Union. Yet the archaic form of registration still
grips the lives of Russia's citizens. For anyone seeking to permanently
move to another part of the country, changing one's registration can be
a bureaucratic nightmare. Residency in a well-off part of the country,
especially Moscow, entitles one to attend some of the best schools and
secure the kind of medical and retirement benefits that are available in
few other regions.
As part of its ongoing modernization efforts, the government has
announced that registration is about to become much simpler. The Federal
Migration Service (FMS) has even hinted that the entire process could
soon be obsolete. Announcing the decision at a recent press conference,
FMS chief Konstantin Poltoranin said, "The internal passport has no
future as a legal document." Soon, Russians will be able to change
residency by mail or over the Internet.
--- I've read or been told they still have basically no property rights
but haven't had time to research it...

More evidence emerging that Constitution supporters are considered threats
A report published today by Kurt Nimmo states that a Department of Homeland Security fusion center in Florida conducted surveillance on Ron Paul supporters and other political groups. A law enforcement sensitive bulletin dated 4 June 2010, issued by the Central Florida Intelligence Exchange, identified one event hosted by Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty that was subjected to official intelligence monitoring by that arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Nimmo notes that the Central Florida Intelligence Exchange was established with the assistance of an $850,000 Department of Homeland Security grant, which is your tax dollars at work. The center is specifically tasked with looking for terrorist leads.

In this regard, when then-Senator Lyndon Johnson created the heinous 501(c)3 IRS tax-exempt status for churches, he very cleverly (with assistance from Hades, I might add) planted the seeds that would grow up to intimidate the vast majority of America’s pastors and church leaders into becoming silent slaves of the state. In fact, if one has an opportunity to ever bore deeply into the matter, he or she will discover that most pastors and church leaders today do not even regard the Church as the institution of the living God, bound only to the laws and principles of God’s Holy Word; they perceive it as a creature of the state, bound to the subjective machinations of IRS bureaucrats and their toadies in the law profession. And should a choice ever have to be made between the two, God, His Word, and His Church will be thrown under the bus in preference to the state-owned corporation. So much for truth–or honesty, or courage, for that matter.

Rap star Kanye West makes video where he kills white women
Two of the biggest black celebrities in the world got together to make a
video glorifying violence towards women (in which most of the women are
white). The images are shocking, especially considering the close
connections between one of the rappers and Barack Obama.
The song will appear on Kanye West’s new album titled “My Beautiful Dark
Twisted Fantasy.” Based on the video, his fantasy appears to be to
kidnap, rape, and murder white women. The initial cover art, which has
already been rejected by Walmart, features a black man holding a beer
bottle in a sexually explicit pose with a naked white woman.

Obama to give Manhattan back to Native Americans?
President Obama is voicing support for a U.N. resolution that could accomplish something as radical as relinquishing some U.S. sovereignty and opening a path for the return of ancient tribal lands to American Indians, including even parts of Manhattan.
--- As far as I'm concerned they can have Manhattan. Most Manhattanites probably don't belong in this country anyway, as most of them are probably "Liberals."
All land on this continent was once 'tribal.'

Quote for the times
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." - Joseph Goebbels
"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should
not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all
experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while
evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms
to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and
usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to
reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their
duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their
future security." -
The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America,
Adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776
(To the Founders, 'state' meant independent sovereign nation state,
that was voluntarily entering into the union and could theoretically
un-volunteer later.)
