The free country you don't live in...

...and the police state you do exist in. Cops who do such should not be safe in their own homes. See the next video for something that cop desperately needs to learn before it's too late.

Gasoline and Dollars: Supply and Demand

Gasoline has exceeded or approached $5.00 per gallon in some parts of the United States long before the normal peak travel season has begun. Already the politicians, headline writers, and some cable and talk show pundits are pointing to the usual suspects. But they have avoided or are unaware of where the fault actually lies.

Tell Government and the Travel Industry: No More TSA Pat-Downs for Kids

Traveler advocate We Won’t Fly is organizing a mass “Call Flood” campaign to force the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to stop touching children, as they did to 6-year-old Anna Drexel last week. The campaign is focused on TSA administrator John Pistole, President Barack Obama, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano, Disneyland and other travel industry participants that serve families.

Reminding them...

...will take more than a few election cycles.

Western PAC says supporting Moffett 'the right thing'

I’ve been on the ground in Kentucky with the rest of our team, and last night I had the opportunity to finally meet Phil Moffett in person and hear him speak to a crowd. I also had the opportunity to meet his primary opponent, David Williams. And I have to tell you, I am convinced now more than ever that we are doing the right thing in supporting Phil Moffett for Governor, and that we cannot afford to lose on May 17. You can support our efforts in Kentucky by making a generous donation here.

--- I don't know anything about this group so you might want to check into them before funneling your money through them. Here's Moffett's website where you can donate directly.

Convicted Black-robed shyster saw nothing wrong with taking kickbacks

A former juvenile court judge was convicted Friday of racketeering in a case that accused him of sending youth offenders to for-profit detention centers in exchange for millions of dollars in illicit payments from the builder and owner of the lockups.

Luzerne County ex-Judge Mark Ciavarella, 61, left the bench in disgrace two years ago after prosecutors charged him with engineering one of the biggest courtroom frauds in U.S. history by using juvenile delinquents as pawns in a plot to get rich.

Haven't watched all this one yet, have fun...

Global-warming zealots to ban ice makers

Ice makers are the latest target in the left’s ongoing war against the conveniences of modern life. Earlier this month, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) issued a report that may condemn this essential household item to the contraband list that already includes functional light bulbs, toilets, washing machines and showerheads.

Mexico wants to sue U.S. gun makers

CBS News has learned that the Mexican Government has retained an American law firm to explore filing civil charges against U.S. gun manufacturers and distributors over the flood of guns crossing the border into Mexico.

Sources say Mexico's frustration with U.S. efforts to stop the flow of weapons has pushed them into this novel approach. The law firm is looking at charges that may include civil RICO. The contract was signed on November 2, 2010 by a representative of Mexico's Attorney General, at their Washington embassy.

--- Sounds like it's time for some 'regime change' in 'ol Mehico...

Allen West: Tired of Obama’s ‘Marxist Rhetoric’

Florida GOP Rep. Allen West says he stands by his statement that President Barack Obama exhibited “Third World dictator-like arrogance” in his speech last week on the budget and America’s skyrocketing debt, and he is sick and tired of the president’s “Marxist demagogic rhetoric.”

--- Gee, a black man with a clue...

And a blast from the past, another black man with a clue

Remember when we were the 'terrorists?' Don't worry, they'll get back 'round to us. All the laws they've passed to fight the fundie ragheads will be applied to us and to the fundie 'Christians.' These hearings took place back in the 90s. More stuff many 'tea partiers' need to educate themselves about. The Patriot movement, as it was called then, and as I still call it, was growing by leaps and bounds until the government, or whomever, demolished the OK City Federal Building and deflated it all overnight. See my 'books to read before you vote' list to the right.

Homemade laundry detergent and Making Homemade Laundry detergent

--- A friend sent me these links. Personally a large box of the cheap stuff lasts me for months and my front loader forces water through the materials so less soap is needed.

...to handle the reality of what will be required? Here's their website.

Michigan: Police Search Cell Phones During Traffic Stops

The Michigan State Police have a high-tech mobile forensics device that can be used to extract information from cell phones belonging to motorists stopped for minor traffic violations. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Michigan last Wednesday demanded that state officials stop stonewalling freedom of information requests for information on the program.

ACLU learned that the police had acquired the cell phone scanning devices and in August 2008 filed an official request for records on the program, including logs of how the devices were used. The state police responded by saying they would provide the information only in return for a payment of $544,680. The ACLU found the charge outrageous.

--- Any cop that participates in such evil deserves what happens to it...

Hosts of US Border Officials Refuse to Apprehend Illegals

An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.

--- The commies want the illegals here so they can vote commie. The corporates want them here so they can pay them slave wages.

We'll be free again...

When we can go buy one of these at the hardware store, no paperwork, no BATF Nazi scum to harass or murder those who wish to be able to defend themselves against them.

See earlier posts on this weapon here.

Damning New Study: Eco Bulbs Cause Cancer

A damning new study conducted by German scientists has found that so-called energy saving light bulbs contain poisonous carcinogens that could cause cancer and should be “kept as far away as possible from the human environment,” but Americans will be forced to replace their traditional light bulbs with toxic CFLs ahead of a government ban set to take effect at the start of next year.

--- They're no more poisonous than the evil garbage that mandated their use.

Drive grows for states to recognize ‘personhood’

Mississippi voters are likely to be the first in the nation to add to their state constitution "personhood" language that declares unborn children to be persons, effectively outlawing abortion and setting up a potential Supreme Court showdown — if they get a chance to vote on it in November.

On June 6, the Mississippi Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments in a pre-emptive court challenge against Measure 26, a ballot question that would define a person as a "human being from the moment of fertilization."

--- While I believe that from a biological standpoint abortion is murder since a fertilized egg, attached to the uterus, is an undeveloped human being, I don't get the religious argument. Most mainstream Christians, at least in the church I was raised in, believe that once a child gets to the 'age of accountability' which can be as young as 5, since some famous preachers have claimed to have been 'saved' that young, the child is liable to be burned alive in fire forever for 'rejecting god.' So any child who dies before that age gets a free ticket to heaven regardless of what he or she might have done later in life. Of course the Catholics and others 'baptize' them at birth, as if the infant is capable of making a decision. Which begs the question: Does an aborted or stillborn baby go to hell? Here's a quote from the Wikipedia page I linked to: The Roman Catholic Church considers baptism, even for an infant, so important that "parents are obliged to see that their infants are baptised within the first few weeks" and, "if the infant is in danger of death, it is to be baptised without any delay."

What insanity.

And more insanity, from a 'highly trained' govt. Nazi...

...with the I.Q. of a sledgehammer. This is about a month old. There's only one follow up to it. Don't know how it all turned out. I figure the Nazis are afraid of the training people are getting with these 'weapons' and will learn too well how to kill government employees, which every child should be taught how to do.

Obama Claims Air Pollution from Coal ‘Creating Asthma for Kids Nearby’

President Barack Obama claimed that coal could create "the kinds of air pollution" that is "creating asthma for kids," in speaking at a town hall event in Annandale, Va., on Tuesday. However, the National Institutes of Health says that “the exact cause of asthma isn’t known” and that “asthma is different for each person.”

“The challenge with coal is that although it’s very cheap, it’s also dirty. And it can create the kinds of air pollution that not only is contributing to climate change but is also creating asthma for kids nearby,” Obama said in answer to a question about balancing deficit reduction with government spending on clean energy.

--- "...cheap, also dirty..." Sounds like the Marxist mutt is describing most politicians, though not all of them are cheap, just ask the corporations and commie foundations who feel obliged to buy them.

Blast from the past: Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

--- See it was OK to tell the truth about the Mutt's birthplace when it was headed for the Senate.

And another form of alien...

Ancient ignorant peoples would have called them 'angels' and 'demons.'

If there are many species as some claim then it figures some will be 'bad' and others 'good,' with infinite variations in between, kinda' like humans.

It's not rocket science, if they land in your front yard and sound like "Liberal"(commie) politicians/activists or say 'bow down and worship us' then it's time to reach for the shotgun, or something better.

The 'lifting of the veil' will not simplify our problems...

Action Alert: Oppose Patriot Act, Round Five

Currently there are nine different bills introduced in Congress, three in the House and six in the Senate, that would extend certain provisions of the Patriot Act for one to three years.

Four of the Senate bills are already out of committee and scheduled for a vote on the General Calendar. One that sees much press but has no co-sponsors is Sen. Patrick Leahy’s (D-Vt.) S. 193: USA PATRIOT Act Sunset Extension Act of 2011, and is a likely vehicle for furthering the dictates of the original Patriot Act.

All of the proposed measures would extend the most objectionable parts of the Patriot Act; the “lone wolf” provision that permits indiscriminate government surveillance of individuals for no reason; the “library records” provision; and the “John Doe roving wiretap” provision that ignores the Fourth Amendment’s guarantee of probable cause and proper court order.

--- ...and the republicrats see no problem with most of it. The 'Tea Party' really has it's work cut out for it. Or maybe the tea partiers will eventually wake up and stiffen their backbones and realize what will ultimately be required. See the 'quote for the times' below.

Can we squeeze gas out of commies and oil company execs?

Feds to Supreme Court: Allow Warrantless GPS Monitoring

The Obama administration is urging the Supreme Court to allow the government, without a court warrant, to affix GPS devices on suspects’ vehicles to track their every move.

The Justice Department, saying “a person has no reasonable expectation of privacy in his movements (.pdf) from one place to another,” is demanding the justices undo a lower court decision that reversed the conviction and life sentence of a cocaine dealer whose vehicle was tracked via GPS for a month without a court warrant.

The petition, if accepted by the justices, arguably would make it the biggest Fourth Amendment case in a decade — one weighing the collision of privacy, technology and the Constitution.

--- The Marxist mutt works for the same masters that Dubya did.

What they do there, they will do here...

Maybe some good news at the end of this one...  the third segment that is.

WSJ: US to Sell GM Stake at $11 Billion Loss

The government plans to sell most of its remaining stake in General Motors in the coming months and lose $11 billion in the process, The Wall Street Journal reports.

With taxpayer money, the government rescued General Motors for $50 billion in 2009

To get that money back, the U.S. Treasury will need to sell its remaining stake of around 500 million shares at $53 apiece.

--- History will note the companies that 'were too big to fail' and the empire that did...

Williams could get 100 grand a year, in pension payout...

Gee, I didn't know republicrats were that expensive. The entire WBKO forum is here.

Quote for the times

"We have four boxes with which to defend our freedom: the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box." — Lawrence Patton McDonald (1935-1983) U. S. Congressman, killed in Korean Air 007 Soviet shoot down.  Some think the plane wasn't shot down, but forced to land.

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." -
The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America,
Adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776
(To the Founders, 'state' meant independent sovereign nation state,
that was voluntarily entering into the union and could theoretically un-volunteer later.)

It's time to bring back the old saying: "Better dead than red."
Only we need to apply it to Amerika's reds.

Watch to see what we should be teaching kids
to do to "Liberals" so they'll actually
have a future in a free country:

"No small shot gun, during my residence of seven years of war in America, was ever kept in the house of a backwoodsman. You will often see a boy not over ten years of age driving the cattle home, but not without a rifle on his shoulder; they never stir out on any business, or on a journey without their rifles. Practice from their infancy, teaches them all distances…/span>

"I never in my life saw better rifles (or men who shot better) than those made in America. They are chiefly made in Lancaster, and two or three neighboring towns in that vicinity in Pennsylvania. The barrels weigh about six pounds two or three ounces and carry a ball no larger than thirty-six to the pound; at least I never saw one of a larger caliber, and I have seen many hundreds and hundreds." - Colonel George Hanger, captain of a Hessian Jager corps of the American Revolution, as quoted in Muzzleloader Magazine's 'The Book of Buckskinning.'

Our civilization has been taken from mindless aggression to mindless pacifism. The latter is the most dangerous by far. We must put knowledge of our most basic right, that of self-defense, back into the hands and minds of the young, or they are doomed to be mindless pacified slaves, and most importantly 'victims' who can be used as pawns by those who seek to maintain their power over us all.

"Children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom." - John Adams, Defense of the Constitutions, 1787

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them." - Richard Henry Lee (1732-1794) Founding Father

Start them young, train them well, for you know not what they may have to do...

They're so cute, couldn't resist posting this. With the right parenting they won't grow up to be mindless pacified sheeple willing to bend over for their would-be bosses, whether in the government or at their place of employment. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6 KJV

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined... The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun." – Patrick Henry, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 5, 1778

Folk music records what Vermonters responded to British soldiers who would impose their will upon them:
"Why come ye hither, Redcoats? Your mind what madness fills? For there’s danger in our valleys and there’s danger on our hills. Why hear ye not the singing of the bugle wild and free? Full soon you’ll hear the ringing of the rifle from the tree! For the rifle, for the rifle: in our hands shall prove no trifle."

"Perhaps the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not yet sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason."
- Thomas Paine, the first paragraph of his Pamphlet, “Common Sense.”
