WNB September 2010

Between a rock and a sword and a hammer
Barry Bright
Sept. 30, 2010

This will take a while, so get a cup of whatever your poison is and settle back, but don’t expect it to be very relaxing.

Let’s skip past the drama, which I’ve been accused by “Liberal” garbage of liking too much and get to the facts:
We face two great, no three, evils in this country. First we have a historically dominant religion, no matter how much our domestic enemies lie about it, that says it’s OK to worship(to serve) a god who’s going to burn the majority of the human race that ever existed alive in fire forever.
If that’s not bad enough we have another group, already mentioned, whose idea of a ‘better world’ is government regulation and taxation of every aspect of our lives, with the cancer of authoritarianism that goes along with it, essentially creating another form of hell on earth.
Then we have this other group, with whom many have a basic familiarity, I call them fundamentalist ragheads. Don’t like that? Get over it. It’s about their evil religion and ignorant culture, not their race. Proof in point I’ve been reading a National Geographic article about Indonesia, the most populous raghead culture on Earth.
They’re racially Asians but the god of the desert prophet has taken not only their hearts and minds but much of their country. In one region according to the article published last fall, Shariah law has been instrumented to the point that on Fridays women with headscarves, not yet fully veiled, patrol the streets to make sure the men shut their businesses down to pray at the nearest mosque.
The woman in charge of one of these patrols was interviewed and said she welcomed full implementation of Shariah law, down to the cutting off of hands for thievery and stoning for adultery. Of course their ‘law’ will be much like most religious doctrine, made up as they go along, because most followers are too ignorant, apathetic and lazy to really understand their own religion and generally rely on what they are spoon fed from whatever authority figures are presented to them.
Which gets me to what started this, a short conversation I had with a young man, or teenager, I didn’t get to ask his age, at a local festival the other day while I was helping man a Tea Party booth.
He questioned me about the religious aspects of our Tea Party fliers. Of course he wondered what that would mean for other religions, per his indoctrination via the government schools, the media or maybe a pious Marxist relative.
I tried to explain to him that even though Christianity was intolerant in the past for the last 200 years in this country it had proven to be very tolerant, at least of other religions. I didn’t get to say that this was probably because it had no serious challengers over here, except maybe a few ‘witches’ in the early days, a few trouble making atheists and of course the Amerikan Communist Insurgency, which planted these thought patterns in his yet undeveloped brain housing group.
Before our conversation was interrupted by other events, which I may relate in a later blog post, it turned to the difference between the god known as ‘democracy’ and the republican form of government each state is guaranteed by the u.S. Constitution.
I told him that in a republic one can fight back, but not under a democracy.
“But you can fight back under democracy. That doesn’t make any sense,” was basically what he said to me, which caught me off guard, then we were interrupted and he disappeared with his friends before I could continue talking with him.
His last comment threw me off, and embarrassed me because I couldn’t think of a decent response.
The response is simple regardless of the infirmities of my aging brain: In a democracy, a word that has falsely been associated with and even equated with ‘freedom,’ when it is the opposite of such, it’s adherents will claim that once their side has won the election or the referendum all the rest of the unfortunates have to sheepishly go along with whatever was decided by the majority regardless of what such obedience does to their natural born rights.
Well maybe that’s not so simple for many. We have been indoctrinated in the religion of democracy, and one or two others, all our lives. That makes it hard to accept, at least at first, that much of what we have been taught is a lie. Later I wanted to say to him that people have fought back, with force and violence, not just with flower and peace sign adorned placards, throughout history against tyrannical and authoritarian kings, emperors, priestly orders, dictators, military juntas and the ‘world orders’ of their time for all of human history.
But that’s not the same as the government acknowledging your natural born right to fight back, with force that is, not just petitions and ‘peaceful protests’ with all the chanting and hopeful song-singing that goes along with it, which is what our ancestors had here until 1865. The republic really only lasted about 80 years. But that’s history we won’t get into here, even though it is a crucially important concept.
There’s much history many in the so-called ‘tea party’ need to get into. But alas so many of them are riding that magic carpet of the moment, the golden words of an authority figure on the television or somewhere else who’s reinforcing the old indoctrinations and the same ol’ blind patriotisms without getting down to the filthy greasy nitty gritty of what’s really going on here.
Which gets me back to the fighting part, not the gods and democracy part. Divide and conquer, remember that old adage?
Now some of you will have to sit a little more firmly back in your chairs and maybe grip your arm rests for I’m about to broach a topic I haven’t before, at least not in a column. Get ready to snicker.
This field of study to define it loosely is as full of charlatans as a new age self improvement conference, but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t be foolish to ignore the issue of Unidentified Flying Objects and the possibility of other intelligent species sharing our realities.
Cutting to the quick, my reading and watching, and I’d never claim to be an 'expert' whatever that is, of this issue has led me to think, not believe, that they, whatever or whomever they are or in whatever real number variations or form, have been with us a very long time. They are what our ignorant ancestors and what many today would refer to as angels, demons and gods.
For some of them we are quite probably the rats in their maze, or at best they look upon us as a New York City "Liberal" looks upon an endangered sloth clinging to a tree branch somewhere in the Amazon basin. Or some of them may view us as dangerous, which may be the most dangerous possibility for us.
For others among them we may be some kind of resource, which they plunder at will or whenever they can without being caught.
Yes of course I’m aware of the other versions of this issue: A. – They’re all government vehicles and this is all a NWO conspiracy and B. – This is part of the great deception and the demons will arrive first and declare the anti-christ to be god and…. I’m not getting into all the versions and sub-versions and subversions here. The ‘web’ is full of them.
The point of introducing that topic is part of why I started this column as I did. Whether we are being ‘protected’ by one of the alien species in some kind of ‘preserve’ from direct and obvious contact(which is what I tend to think), or whether it is part of some grand deception, we are, in our still ignorant backwards state as evolved or genetically manipulated primates, doing exactly what monkeys in cages do, fighting over trifles and preparing to kill, maybe millions or billions, over whose version of authoritarianism will reign supreme.
The only message that matters is that we need to stop choosing one version of authoritarianism over another. Until we do that we will continue to be someone’s slave. And anyone who threatens you with torture or ‘eternal separation’ for simply disobeying doesn’t consider you to be anything else. Most of the human governments on this planet stopped burning people long ago, at least openly. A god that is capable of creating a possibly multi-dimensional infinite universe does not need to enslave, threaten or torture anyone.
And that will be true whether they arrive on a cloud or in a space ship.
I don’t know what the answers to all this are, except that many humans are convinced they have the answer and a good number of them don’t care who they kill or torture, in this world or the next, to prove it. All that proves is that we are still in the dark ages and the light at the end of the tunnel is a tiny pinhead of flame in the distance that frequently gets blown out.
Remember, only in politically corrected fairly tales are happy endings guaranteed.

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." -
The Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America,
Adopted by Congress on July 4, 1776
(To the Founders, 'state' meant independent sovereign nation state,
that was voluntarily entering into the union and could theoretically un-volunteer later.)

It's time to bring back the old saying: "Better dead than red."
Only we need to apply it to Amerika's reds.

________________________________________________________

Watch to see what we should be teaching kids
to do to "Liberals" so they'll actually
have a future in a free country:

“No small shot gun, during my residence of seven years of war in America, was ever kept in the house of a backwoodsman. You will often see a boy not over ten years of age driving the cattle home, but not without a rifle on his shoulder; they never stir out on any business, or on a journey without their rifles. Practice from their infancy, teaches them all distances…

“I never in my life saw better rifles (or men who shot better) than those made in America. They are chiefly made in Lancaster, and two or three neighboring towns in that vicinity in Pennsylvania. The barrels weigh about six pounds two or three ounces and carry a ball no larger than thirty-six to the pound; at least I never saw one of a larger caliber, and I have seen many hundreds and hundreds.” - Colonel George Hanger, captain of a Hessian Jager corps of the American Revolution, as quoted in Muzzleloader Magazine's 'The Book of Buckskinning.'

Our civilization has been taken from mindless aggression to mindless pacifism. The latter is the most dangerous by far. We must put knowledge of our most basic right, that of self-defense, back into the hands and minds of the young, or they are doomed to be mindless pacified slaves, and most importantly 'victims' that those who seek to maintain their power over us all can use as pawns.
